The Apple Foundation Program at 体育外围官网 empowers learners with a future-fit skill set at the intersection of technology, creativity and entrepreneurship. You will be introduced to the Swift 程序ming language - a powerful and intuitive 程序ming language for iPhone, iPad, Mac and more - to prototype an original app idea.

In this four week 程序 apply your creative curiosity to solve real world problems in a challenge based learning environment, where you will collaborate in diverse teams using the Apple iOS ecosystem to design apps.

This world-class learning 程序 offers an overview of the skills to become an iOS developer, while simultaneously introducing you to a highly sought-after transferable skill set, 包括:

The Apple Foundation Program at 体育外围官网 is free of charge to participants.  A MacBook and iPhone will be loaned to all students for the 程序's duration.

The 程序 is open to a broad range of cohort groups, spanning current high school students, school-leavers who completed their year 12 schooling in 2022, existing 体育外围官网 students who may be interested in further study in this field, and women who are interested in exploring career options in STEM.

Each 程序 will run over 20 days (or equivalent) - five days per week - 4 hours per day.

Classes will be delivered from 10:00am – 2:00pm each weekday.

Classes will run on-site at the 体育外围官网 Melbourne Campus:

You must meet the following entry requirements to apply for the 程序:

• All applicants must be over the age of 16
• All applicants must reside in Australia

另外, if successful in gaining a place in the 程序, you must be able to commit to be on-site at 体育外围官网 University Melbourne for the duration of the nominated 程序 dates.

Participants do not need to have prior coding knowledge, skills or experience, but previous coding knowledge is welcome.

Entry to this 程序 is very competitive because we can only accept 30 learners at a time and we will use the selection task to help us with our group selection.

We will assess your submission based on the quality of your reflection, storytelling skills, communication skills, effort and creativity.

In addition to your online application you must include your creative response to the following question to be considered for a place in the 程序:

• Tell us about something that you learnt recently and how you learnt it.

You have the freedom to complete this however you wish, whether that’s a collage, 插图, short video (no more than 30 seconds) or written response – the sky is the limit, 所以要有创造力!

You will need to upload your response as a PDF attached to your application.  For those wanting to submit a film please include a url link to your video in your PDF.
